Big Island is famous for it's fish and reef life. Atlantis Submarines.............. The reef off Kona is teaming with a wide assortment of beautifully colored marine animals. For those who would like to see this spectacular underwater display without getting wet, there is no better viewing vehicle than a submarine or a glass bottom boat. The submarine is certainly the most exciting because it descends to depths of over 100 ft. below the surface. Every seat has it's own adjacent window and the viewing is almost surreal. When's the last time you were in a submarine anyway? Now they are very comfortable and roomy with plenty of rushing fresh air. You'll appreciate the change in colors as you descend deeper and deeper to the ocean floor.
