The Wailua River itself was royal grounds in the olden days and is associated too, with many legends of Menehunes, those mysterious and dwarflike people who many say, lived on Kauai before the appearance of Polynesians. While cruising the Wailua, boat operators share the fascinating legends of the area and family members entertain with Hawaiian songs, old & new. In this beautiful, tropical jungle setting, nature has formed a natural ampitheatre with acoustics that are remarkable. Trips operate daily, every half hour starting at 9AM.
