Maui Ocean Center is a state-of-the-art aquarium that brings
this intriguing underwater world within easy reach of Maui's
visitors and residents. Visitors to the Maui Ocean Center

The
Maui Ocean Center integrates the

Come along on a discovery journey - an experiential adventure
in which you descend from black lava shorelines and white sandy
beaches, underwater past colorful corals and unique fish, through
lava tubes and sea caves, and deep into the open ocean.
The Maui Ocean Center is located at Ma'alaea Harbor Village
overlooking Ma'alaea Small Boat Harbor on the southwest shore
of Maui. The site's near-shore location lends a superlative
visual setting to the aquarium experience.

Meet eye-to-eye curious garden eels, unusual frog fish and the
shy octopus. Marvel as a giant stingray glides by, or feel the
smooth spines of a bright orange slate pencil urchin in the
Touch Pool.
The Whale Discovery Center pays tribute to the wonder, majesty
and mystery of the
humpback whale - Hawaii's State Marine Mammal. From the depths
of the ocean, you follow a pod of humpback whales halfway around
the world as they mate, feed and migrate across the vast Pacific.
Descend into the deep blue and gain a spectacular glimpse of
the open ocean. Translucent and delicate jellyfish dance in
front of you. Awesome sharks, and colorful schools of jack and
spotted eagle rays pass above and below as you stroll through
an acrylic tunnel right through the middle of an enormous 750,000
gallon tank.

Kupanaha: This Hawaiian magical dinner show performs in the Kanahele
Room Theater at Kaanapali Beach Hotel, which features a brand
new lighting and surround sound system. Modern technology partnered
with the world class talent of magicians, Jody & Kathleen
Baran and daughters, will make this spellbinding dinner show a
surefire hit! The award winning hula halau, Kanoeau Dance Academy,
presents dance and chant to weave Hawaiian myth into magic.
Kupanaha: Maui Magic for All Ages is an evening of cutting edge
illusions and sleight-of-hand magic tricks, legends of extraordinary
Hawaiian demigods illustrated through hula and chant, specialty
drinks from the Volcano Bar and incredible cuisine served right
to your table. Guests will order in advance from a menu of delicious
appetizers, entrees and desserts, and a vegetarian option is available.

It's name translates to "House of the Sun,"
and many visitors travel to the mountain's summit in the pre-dawn
hours to witness how the light plays across the landscape of
the crater at sunrise. the park's 380 acres serve as a habitat
for rare native Hawaiian plants, birds and insects. Crater trails
include: Halemauu Trail that enables you to explore Haleakala

from it's rim down 3,000 feet to it's floor. the trail begins
four miles up from park headquarters. Sights include volcanic
vents, large cinder cones, ancient lava flows, wild goats and
an occasional nene, the once endangered Hawaiian goose that serves
as hawaii's state bird. Hike to holua Cabin, Silversword Loop,
Bottomless Pit and Pele's Paint Pot with its red and yellow lava.

'Iao
Valley State Monument
Take
highway 32, 'Iao Valley Rd. which leads to the 6.2 acre valley park
and 'Iao Needle, a 1,200 foot high natural rock formation. Open daily
